The pilot came on the intercom and stated we would reach our destination in under 4 hours.
Our initial trip took much longer. So how in the world was it time to buckle up and return our seat trays to their upright position?
Then he explained that our return trip back home was quicker because of the TAILWINDS we would experience.
…Those tailwinds got behind our flight home …
…AND shaved almost 40 minutes off the trip!
That got me thinking…
